Basic resources :
for site creation and also generally useful
W3Schools - almost all I needed to make my site
(supplemented by reddit posts from 2 years ago.)
HTML Editor - test pages before creating or updating them
(took me an embarrassing amount of time to start using)
Unicode Code Converter - for special language characters,
you just copy-paste the code where you want the letter
to appear, no additional coding needed
imgBB - free website for storing files, helps on
saving space for neocities
File Garden - another free website for storing files
(2 GiB limit, tho)
Catbox - yet another free website for storing files
(it shit itself in February 2026 and I lost
a lot of files, so thread with caution)
Ellipsus - AI-free alternative to google docs
ILovePDF - pdf converter and editing tool
ILoveIMG - jpg converter and image editor
Image Extractor - download all image files from a site's page
Flipbook PDF - turn a PDF into a flipbook, also offers code
so you can add it to your site
EZgif - make gifs out of videos & images, and vice verse
